Is it just me, or are there the most gorgeous floral prints out there this year? I don’t know if it is because I am expanding my fashion horizons and I’m just noticing them more this season or it’s a spring time theme for all the designers. You know like that scene in The Devil Wears Prada where Miranda Priestley is like “Florals? For Spring? Groundbreaking.” Speaking of, I just love Meryl (Is it ok to call her Meryl? Is Her Royal Highness, Queen of Actresses more appropriate?) in that role as well as the movie. I had read the book and loved it, and as usual there were differences, but in this case I didn’t mind it. Anyway, back to today’s outfit.
I really like this large floral print – the purples, yellow and green really grabbed my attention. I thought it paired nicely with this purple pencil skirt because I’m a pencil skirt kind of gal, but I can see it with full skirts, a nice dress pant, and even with some colorful skinnies.
Here is a quick view of the back. Isn’t it a wonderful bold print?

I decided to accessorize with pearls because I like how they look with the flowers and pretty colors. The bright yellow shoes tie back into the top and plus I love how yellow and purple look together. I purchased these pumps on a whim and I’m surprised at how many times I’ve worn them even in a very short time. They are remarkably versatile.
Hope y’all enjoy this gorgeous Wednesday! Now as Miranda would say. “That’s all.”
