First of all, let me say I feel really bad I have been a somewhat absent blogger of late. I haven’t had the time to respond to comments or leave comments on other blogs like I normally like to. For those of you who have been nice enough to comment here, I appreciate your kind words and I promise to catch up soon! Work and home have been non-stop (still) and I am seriously hoping things slow down soon.
Now on to today’s look. I’m wearing some of my faves today – a bow blouse and pencil skirt – office perfection. I like this pretty cornflower blue top. Speaking of cornflower blue, don’t you think it would be really fun to have a job where you named colors? Of course, I’m a gal who still gets excited about Crayola’s Fuzzy Wuzzy Brown and Purple Mountains’ Majesty, so that kind of makes sense. Anyway… as is my norm when wearing a color block look with two solids, I throw in some fun texture with my shoes. Today’s pumps are a pretty black lace over nude. Aren’t they gorgeous? These are another pair of shoes I really should wear more than I do.

Ok, here’s to hoping life slows down a bit. Happy Hump Day, y’all!
