Since I am only 5′ 1 and 3/4″, I have really hesitated on the whole midi skirt trend. Yes, I think they are really pretty and have admired them on many others here in the blogging world, as well as in real life. I have it ingrained in me to go with skirts and dresses at knee length or just above the knee, which I guess also explains why it took me so long to try maxi dresses and skirts. Anyway, my tulle skirt is a midi length and I love it each time I wear it and haven’t felt self-conscious about my height, or lack thereof, at all when wearing it. Anyway, on one of my rare thrifting excursions I saw this pretty skirt and decided I had to give it a try. For the price of only $4, I really didn’t have anything to lose. Besides there is something so appealing about a long, full skirt you can twirl in.
I have very little yellow in my wardrobe, as up until this year I wasn’t exactly sure how I felt about yellow on me. Turns out now that I have given it a try, I actually like it. What colors have you hesitated on giving a chance?
