This year I have really gotten into pairing tees with more formal skirts. Up until now I’ve pretty much stuck to a plain tee and pencil skirt as seen here and here. I also tried pairing striped tees with a pencil skirt here and fuller skirts here and here. I really love the juxtaposition of super casual tees and dressier skirts for an office appropriate summer look. Well today is my first foray into taking a graphic tee and dressing it up. Of course, the graphic tee I chose is quite subtle with its tone on tone lettering, but still offers a bit of whimsy.
Wearing: Tee – Old Navy // Skirt – Worthington, JCPenney (sold out online, but you may fins in stores) // Shoes – Nine West (Similar, Similar, Similar)
Y’all know I love some layered necklaces, so of course I had to throw on some pearls and sparkles to jazz up this tee just a bit. I also added these wonderful python print pumps because they look great with this and I’ve hardly worn them at all this summer. Seriously comfortable and gorgeous, so they need to be shown more love. Have you tried the tee and skirt trend yet? If so, how did you style yours? Inquiring minds want to know!
