I am so excited to share with you this collage board I created inspired by a watch from Invaluable’s auction site. This website is a huge on-line marketplace that sells a variety of jewelry – truly unique and one of a kind pieces.
Since I was designing around a man’s watch, my thoughts immediately went to Marlene Dietrich and menswear. So menswear it would be – with a nod to the past, but also with definite modern and feminine touches. I am in love with this polka dot tuxedo blazer (of course!) and it’s gorgeous basket weave texture, which mimics the band of the watch wonderfully.
Wearing: Jacket – NY&Co. // Tee – NY&Co. // Pants – NY&Co. // Shoes – Jellypop // Monogrammed Necklace – Swell Caroline
I love the wider leg of these trousers and the long silhouette they provide. The white sequined tee offers the simple understated lines I wanted, but with a subtle touch of glam. These double strap Mary Janes are some of my very favorite in my wardrobe and remind me of years gone by. So this is my “menspired” look for today that I not only enjoyed putting together, but also wearing. Feeling so chic in this look today!
If you are looking for a special gift for your man check out Invaluable and their amazing collection of men’s watches. Incredible brands, such as Rolex, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Tiffany, Bulgari, Hermes, and on & on, up for auction all the time. You might even find one you like for yourself!
