I have had this vest hanging in my closet for ages now and finally decided to pull it out and wear it. It was one of those pieces that I loved, but just couldn’t quite figure out how I was going to wear it. Then I saw the lovely Nicole of Nicole to the Nines style her’s here. I really liked the solid black black base she used and decided that was finally what I was looking for. Yes, I do give a nod to Nicole’s look, but I changed it up to work with my wardrobe and style. Remember that when you are recreating a look you like – the exact pieces are Not necessary! Also, if you have a chance you should definitely check out Nicole’s blog – she has the most incredible work style and even her casual looks are beautifully polished.
So I already told y’all how I loved Kushyfoot’s amazing shaping tights. Today I am going to tell you a little about their trouser socks. I am wearing the Fishnet Knee Highs and I am just going to be honest – I am seriously in love with the style and thought they suited my look perfectly. I mean, how cute are they?!? I have never seen fishnet knee highs before and I just love them! Seriously, when I put them on I really couldn’t help but smile because they made me think of the leg lamp in A Christmas Story. Anyway, they have the same amazing zigzag comfy sole as the tights (hence the name Kushyfoot!) and light compression on my calves that is supposed to help improve circulation. Whatever it is, they feel great! They also came with a pair of black opaque knee highs when something simpler is more appropriate.
Wearing: Vest – Marshalls // Tee – Old // Pants – Bisou Bisou, JCPenney // Booties – Nine West “Melrosio” // Necklace – NY&Co. // Trouser Socks – c/o Kushyfoot // Flats to Go – c/o Kushyfoot
I chose to try the trouser socks on Monday because that is the day I run around like a mad woman, as well as the Flats to Go. The leopard print is just perfect for me and my wardrobe. Super cute and stylish for those on the go moments. They fold and fit in my purse perfectly and are so comfortable and convenient when the heels just have to come off for a bit. If leopard isn’t your thing, they also come in black, snake and alligator print. I think I am going to buy a couple of pairs – one to leave in the office and one in my glove box (just in case). Since I do wear heels pretty much Every Single Day and have had those “I cannot go one more step” moments I know these will be a lifesaver for me.
Again, just so y’all know, I was provided samples of these products. However, this post was voluntary and I am simply relaying my experience with them.
Linking up with these lovely ladies here!
