Happy Monday, y’all!
This is about my very favorite dress in my closet. Obviously I love it for its cute polka dot pattern, but I also love how versatile it is. It can be dressed up or down easily and can also be worn all year long. I love the easy, loose cut of it , but have also worn it belted to change it up a bit. Here in another way I wore it this summer with my red Converse. I really want to try it styled as a tunic over some leggings this winter, so maybe you’ll be seeing that soon, too. Today I decided to try it with polka dot tights (which I have done before, just not here on the blog). The other times I wore this with polka dot tights I went with black tights and white polka dots, but this time I tried contrasting dots.
Wearing: Dress – Old (Similar) // Cardigan – a.n.a., JCPenney (Similar) // Tights – Old Navy (Similar) // Boots – Sofft “Nell” // Necklace – Old
This look didn’t turn out exactly how I wanted; I think because these tights are much more grey than I expected. Oh well, I do like the extra whimsy they add to the overall outcome. Fun for a rainy day weekend look, anyway!
