Beyond ecstatic today is finally the day for my hair appointment to wash that grey right out of my hair. At some point in time I think I will be OK with going naturally grey, but I am not there yet. For now I am putting it off at least until I’m in my fifties. And then I might say let’s hold off until my sixties. Who knows?! I do know I am more than ready to say goodbye to them today.
So today’s look is kind of simple, but I like it. Each piece has some nice details that give the look more dimension. My cami has a pretty touch of lace, the sweater has the pleat and button detail, and my trousers have the cutest little polka dots. Add them all up and I think it is a winning combination!

Y’all already know I love skirts and dresses, but the fact is I also love a nice pair of trousers. They feel so professional and I love how they give the illusion of a longer leg when paired with pretty pumps. Unfortunately, due to the fact I have gained so much weight these past few months hardly any of my dress pants fit me anymore. Boo. I am refusing to just give in and buy a larger size, so I am working on getting back into the ones hanging in my closet, cuz goodness knows I have more than plenty. One day at a time…
