Not much snow to speak of, just some freezing rain and ice. However, I did enjoy some extra time at home to just catch up and relax, so no complaints here!
On to today’s look – I wanted to wear my Marsala/Burgundy booties and decided to pair them with shades of grey. I’ve had this marled grey sweater and charcoal knit skirt for a couple of years now, but I believe this is the first time I’ve worn them together. I wanted a more neutral background so my booties would stand out and didn’t want to fall back on my natural inclination for black. This look is basic, but I must say the addition of the colorful booties makes me feel quite bold and confidant. I’m a firm believer in the power of the shoe!

Just wondering – what makes you feel confident when stepping out and about in the world?
