I’ve had this fun jacket for a few seasons now and still love it just as much as when I first tried it on. At the time it was one of those pieces I just walked on by, or didn’t even really see, because it was outside my typical wardrobe radar. B actually saw it and asked me to give it a try, and I am very glad I did. I love how it incorporates multiple shades and fabrics, making it a standout blazer in my wardrobe. I have loved it over the years with trousers, skirts, dresses, and jeans. I am now firmly convinced statement pieces like this can be as versatile as traditional basics, just with so much more flair!

One of the best things I have learned in this style journey is it is far better to take a risk on a striking piece than continue to play it safe buying more of the same thing over and over. So do you have any pieces you love that you initially thought wouldn’t be very practical in your wardrobe?
