Another rainy day – Woo Hoo! Guess the April showers decided to start early around these parts. You cannot tell it in these photos, but it is pouring outside. I wore my Scala rain hat (seen here) and made a run for the amphitheater to take my photos. So grateful to have a place outside for photos when it is pouring, especially since it’s turned into a daily event for about two straight weeks now.
I picked up this pretty goldenrod scarf several weeks ago when Brian and I were out shopping. I liked the color, as well as the fact it is a solid, which is something my scarf collection is lacking. I thought the color would be good for year round wear. Anyway, this morning I thought it would be just the thing to add a splash of color to this navy look. I finished it off with a leopard belt and shoes to carry out the gold tones through the look. I know a lot of people are scared of yellows and a scarf is an easy way to try them out.
Wearing: Cardigan – Gap // Tee – Old Navy // Pants – Worthington, JCPenney // Scarf – Charming Charlie // Belt – JCPenney // Shoes – Calvin Klein “Lindsay”
Final note, I made it through day one of my paleo adventure alright. There was a mild headache and a strong desire a couple of times for some tea, but overall it went OK. A co-worker told me it will get worse, but I am just concentrating on making it through one day at a time. Thanks y’all for the interest and encouragement!
