I hope Monday was good to you. Mine went by pretty quickly, which is always a good thing for Monday’s to do! I had a great productive day at the office, then a friend met me after work for a good walk and talk session, and when I finally arrived home after errands, etc. it began to pour rain – music to my ears. Then I noticed this really hard pinging sound and I couldn’t figure out what it was. I looked out a window and was surprised to discover it was hailing, as well. We are talking chunks of ice the size of quarters. That is certainly odd for July weather.
I have always liked the unusual graphic print of this blouse, as well as the pretty pops of color it offers. I normally tuck it in whenever I wear it, but decided to try something different today, as I didn’t care for how it looked tucked into these slimmer cut trousers. It was just too Blousey. To remedy this, I decided to let it all hang out and belt it at the waist. Since it is a longer top, I think it was a good solution and offered a more defined waistline.
