Hey, y’all! Hope you had a wonderful and relaxing weekend! We didn’t make a hiking trip this time, because B had to work all weekend (from home), but we did enjoy our time together and just catching up. I grilled some amazing turkey burgers topped with guacamole, lettuce, red onions and roma tomatoes and wrapped in romaine lettuce. Talk about tasty! Homemade guacamole has become something I make regularly to go along with burgers, wraps, or for eating with fresh veggies. Funny, I used to think making it was complicated, but now I do it so often I don’t even have to think about it.
Today’s look is one I wore on casual Friday. Jeans are ok on Friday in my new office, as long as they are kept dressy and office appropriate. You probably will not be seeing distressed boyfriend jeans or camo around here anymore, unless it is from my weekend wear. I don’t know, I may push the envelope on the camo, just to show them they can be totally office appropriate when dressed the right way. We shall see.
Anyway, y’all know I love me some leopard, and I also love me some Royalty for Me jeans. They were kind enough to send me a new pair to try for my smaller size. I have different styles of their WannaBettaButt line in black and sand, so this time I decided to try an actual blue jean in their super soft skinny. Ummm, may I tell you the name suits all around! Super soft and wonderfully fitted! I chose the N08 Medium Wash because it isn’t a color I have in my wardrobe. Let me say, these jeans have been worn multiple times since I received them because they are just so darn comfortable, flattering, and the color is perfect. I must tell you Royalty for Me also has other lines of jean apparel, such as Slim Hers, Hyperstretch, and Jackets. They also offer regular shorts, Bermuda shorts, and capris.

I paired my jeans with one of my favorite prints – leopard. I love this top because it is truly one that can be worn year round. It is light and sheer, perfect for spring, summer, and fall (at least, fall here in the south), and can be used with layers in the winter. I received a comment or two this spring from readers who generally associated leopard with fall and winter, while spring/summer, not so much. Here to tell you leopard is a neutral that can be worn all year long. Just pay attention to the weight of the material so it doesn’t seem too heavy.
So I hope y’all make the most of this Monday and set your tone with the week full of positivity! That’s my plan, anyway.
Disclosure: I was provided these jeans by Royalty for Me. I was not asked to do a post for these jeans by them. However, I love them so much, I chose to do it on my own, because it is a company I stand behind. Seriously, when a company is great enough to notice maybe you need a smaller size and offers to send something without asking anything in return, how can I cannot sing their praises?! Ladies, if you are looking for new jeans, I truly hope you will look at this brand first!
