So today I ran home for lunch, as I often do (perks of living 5 minutes from the office), and as I skipped up the front steps something seemed off and caused me to turn and look. To my absolute horror, I saw a huge black snake partially coiled on one of the small basement windows and hanging down the side of my home. It was no less than 4 feet long and scared the absolute bejeezus out of me, especially when it decided to turn its gaze on me. Needless to say, I was inside in a hot second. Then I couldn’t calm down. I know black snakes are harmless in theory, but the possibility of bringing on a heart attack makes all snakes dangerous to me. When I left (using the Back door!) and ran to my truck it was gone. I don’t know which was worse, knowing where it was or not knowing where it could be.
Now onto a different creature, a kind I Love, dogs. I think these adorable French Bulldog flats are the cutest shoes in my collection and I love wearing them. I wore this to the office on a day I felt like being dressed down and more relaxed. I decided to pair them with these fun printed ankle pants and a simple black button up shirt.

Welcome to Fabulous Friday! Each week I plan to showcase at least two of my favorite looks, add them to a Fabulous Friday Pinterest board, and share the love on Instagram and Twitter. Feel free to link up any of your recent blog posts, whether it be fashion, food, fitness, or DIY. Please follow this blog in at least one way, link back to this post, share a specific blog link, and visit other blogs!
This week’s first featured looks is from Lindsey of Brushing Our Way Through Life. She had the most clicked links with this great fall transitional look. So Loving these booties!
Now for my favorite posts…
Katie’s gorgeous printed peplum top is an absolute scene stealer! The orange bag and blue sandals compliment this fab look perfectly. Check out more of Katie’s amazing style on her blog Hello Katie Girl’s Fashion, Food, and Fur.
I couldn’t help myself with this one – Karen’s polka dot tunic and white jeans are a look after my own heart! She is currently doing a capsule wardrobe and I have been enjoying seeing her remixes. Check it out at She Thought She Could so She Did.
Finally, a bonus favorite post comes from Samantha of Beautiful Dreamer. I have so enjoyed seeing Sam put this room together over the past few months. I love her bold choices and gorgeous color scheme.
One final thing – I am truly sorry I wasn’t able to comment on everyone’s posts this week as I usually try to do. I decided to enjoy my holiday weekend and not do bloggity things, and with the short week I have been playing catch up all around. Anyway, thank you so much to all who linked up. Now let’s get to it!
