This weekend was a pleasant combination of relaxation and catching up on little bits of my to-do list. We watched The Intern and thought it was cute (well, most of it). Honestly, I don’t understand why there aren’t more senior intern programs. It seems like a win-win for all involved. Anyway, on Sunday’s I usually try to cook my breakfasts and lunches for the week ahead, as well as plan my outfits out for the week. I’ve also started trying to sit down with The Be Happy Planner and making plans, setting goals, and generally getting myself more organized. Nothing terribly exciting, but it helps me tremendously.
This weekend was warmer, as predicted, and it was really nice to not be completely bundled up. It felt great to wear layers without the need for long sleeves, which I had originally intended when I planned this look. This was something I wore as we went out to run errands and then on to a quick supper. I really enjoyed the rich color of my burgundy poncho against the neutral top and how the accessories elevated the look. Jeans and boots are a favorite of mine for weekend winters, and I am loving these over the knee brown boots because they are flat and so comfortable.
