Geometric Green and Flare Jeans
[dropcaps]S[/dropcaps]ince we celebrated St. Patrick’s day this week, I thought I would stick with a green theme. I’ve had this bow blouse for at least three years now and I love the bold geometric print, as well as the color. In the past I have only ever worn this type of blouse with skirts and trousers for professional looks. After seeing a couple of casually styled looks on Pinterest and loving them, I thought I would give it a whirl. Instead of going with skinny jeans this time around, I pulled out a pair of my flare jeans. I don’t know, something about this print feels a little retro to me, so a throwback to the seventies style seemed in order.
You know how some days you are just feeling your look? Well, this was definitely one of those days! I loved how the green looked with my bright red hair. I loved how the flare jeans made me feel like my legs went on forever – believe me, when you are only almost 5’2″, that is a feeling that doesn’t happen every day! I really liked how the gold accessories worked with the green, and the fact that I was trying something different. I’d love to hear about any looks that have made you walk with an extra boost of confidence, so please share! ♥

Emily of Darling Dearest had the most clicked link last week. I am loving her new rose quartz blazer.
Emma of Style Splash looks perfect in this fun silk top and burnt orange pants. The little touches of leopard were perfect!
