Swing Dress & Booties
So last summer when I tried out a swing dress I was pretty hesitant and not certain about how flattering a looser dress would be on my figure. Somehow over the fall and winter my entire mindset changed and I am now in love with them. I became particularly drawn to how the loose, flowy shape looks with booties and boots (not to mention its on the forgiving side after meal times.) I also feel they offer the perfect backdrop for on trend pendant necklaces. I’m sure you will be seeing this dress, and other ones like it, styled in a multitude of ways over the next few months.
Y’all know I’ve been trying different things to change up my hair as it is growing out. Last week I decided to give loose, messy waves a try. I’m still working on learning this whole process, but I really enjoyed this hairstyle and can guarantee I will be wearing it more often in the coming weeks. Since my bob is fairly structured, I took pleasure in the easygoing curls. You should check out my Pinterest board Life’s too Short for Boring Hair to see other ideas I’ve run across.

This past weekend I started my spring cleaning and got so much crossed off my to-do list. Yay! There is still Lots to do, but I feel as though I can breathe again finally. I am so looking forward to spring break in less than two weeks; hopefully I will have time to complete my list and enjoy some downtime. I have some serious organizing to be done between a couple of closets and my basement. Boo. However, I know I will feel a million times better once it is done. Besides I enjoy organizing. It’s the purging that gets me…
Happy hump day. y’all!
