Mother’s Day Look & Ageless Style Link-Up
Hey, y’all! What? I am posting on a Tuesday? Why, yes, I am. I am thrilled to present to you the new Ageless Style Link-Up! I am working with 8 other fabulous, stylish, bloggers and we are each in our forties or fifties and letting it be known style does not end once you turn 39. Goodness, I didn’t even think about expanding my style horizon until I was 40. I finally felt comfortable enough in my own skin to become more creative with my wardrobe beyond the black, white, and safe. For our first month’s theme we chose a Mother’s Day theme and each look should include a floral.
So funny, because this look may be black and white, but it is beyond what most would consider safe. A graphic tee, polka dot skirt, and floral pumps? It works for me and our inaugural theme – J’adore (“I Love You”, my sweet boys), the polka dots, (well, you know), and the floral pumps worked to give the black and white a needed relief of color, floral for the theme, and the additional five inches I just Love walking in every day! (Seriously, I do.)
What I’m Wearing:
[li]Tee – Old Navy[/li]
[li]Skirt – Worthington, JCPenney[/li]
[li]Shoes – Nine West[/li]
[li]Necklace – Charming Charlie[/li]
Now let me introduce you to the other fabulous bloggers who are a part of the Ageless Style Link-up!
First up we have Carrie of A Lovely Little Wardrobe. She is the founder of this group and is looking so stylish in her a neutral look. Her black flower necklace compliments this look perfectly.
Debbie of Fashion Fairy Dust is wearing a casual look and her subtle floral top is fabulous against her distressed jeans and cognac booties. Debbie always inspires me to try new things and I just love her sense of style.
How fun is Yvonne of Funky Forty?! Her abstract floral dress and carefree attitude just make me smile.
Alice of Happiness at Midlife is the Queen of pattern mixing and her floral top and polka dot skirt combination are making me want to be more adventurous.
Shelly of The Queen in Between looks so cool and casual in this fun and flirty sundress and leopard wedges.
Ana of Mrs. American Made looks so perfectly put together and in her floral dress and amazing jacket.
Loving this color combination from Tania of 50 is Not Old. The navy and yellow are perfect, plus those embellished flowers on her bag are such a standout!
Now that you have seen our style it is time to share yours! Looking forward to seeing your posts.
