The Fab 40’s is a group of seven stylish fashion bloggers from around the globe. Each month we choose a different theme and invite a guest blogger who is also in their forties to join us. This group’s goal is to take on style trends and show how we each interpret and incorporate them into our own lives. With eight widely varied views, you are certain to find something that speaks to you each month and encourages you to continue to have fun with fashion after 40.
It’s the fourth Monday of the month, so that means it is time for this month’s edition of The Fab 40’s! This month’s theme was evening wear as day wear. This theme went surprisingly well for me, and my most difficult decision was deciding which of my many ideas I would share here. In the end, I selected this one because it is the one I most saw myself wearing in real life. In fact, I did wear this the day I took photos to run errands and a bit of light shopping. The studded snakeskin slip on sneakers were perfect for running around in all afternoon, as they are so comfortable and I like how the details worked with my sequin tank. The blazer didn’t stay on long due to the high temps, and I didn’t feel the least bit odd wearing my sequin tank out and about because of how the jeans and sneakers dressed it down. Coincidentally, the last time I wore this tank on the blog, I also styled it for day wear.
What I’m Wearing:
