[dropcaps]O[/dropcaps]K, let me just say it is seriously Hott here. Today the temps soared to 97 and it was pretty miserable out. I am not complaining because I was comfortable as long as I stayed inside. However, this is putting a bit of a damper on my lunchtime walks. I just really enjoy the mid-day break walking gives me and I am trying to get back on track with it after taking a little hiatus. Since it is practically summer and I am in the south, I am not counting on much of a temperature shift anytime soon. Guess I need to suck it up, buttercup.
Today’s look is one I wore earlier in the week to the office. I have been trying to add more printed pencil skirts to my wardrobe and when I saw this Kelly Green and white skirt I knew it would work well for me. The material has just a bit of stretch making it comfortable and figure flattering. I am a huge fan of wearing pink and green together, so I added my bright pink peep toe pumps and Harmony tote to pump up the color palette. This look would have worked just as well with navy, cobalt, or yellow. I enjoy seeing how simply swapping out the colored shoes can really change up the appearance. I also appreciate how adding a basic belt can further accentuate my waistline and add polish to a look.
