Well this week the temps went back to the high 80’s every day. Boo! I was not thrilled. No scarves, tall boots, or jackets this week. However, it was perfect for wearing this sheer chocolate brown floral blouse. Dark floral is really on trend at the moment and when I saw this one a couple of months ago I immediately knew it was coming home with me. I am not really a floral person, but I do like dark floral items. I think it’s because I don’t really wear pastels and that’s what you usually find when it comes to floral clothing.
This time around I styled it with a tan pencil skirt and pumps for the office. I am looking forward to trying it with some maroon trousers for another office option soon. I will also style this casually with skinny jeans and booties, plus flares and boots will work well, too. I really like the fact the sleeves are convertible and can be worn long, as well.
Blouse – NY&Co.
Necklace – Old (cannot remember where I purchased it)
Skirt – Worthington, JCPenney
Shoes – Mootsies Tootsies
Sunnies – c/o FyshUK
Have you hopped on board the dark floral train?
Welcome to Fabulous Friday! Each week I plan to showcase at least two of my favorite looks, add them to my Fabulous Friday Pinterest board, and share the love on Instagram and Twitter. Feel free to link up any of your recent blog posts, whether it be fashion, food, fitness or DIY. There was a three way tie for most clicked links last week, so those will be the three bloggers featured this week.
Shellie (The Queen in Between) shared this look featuring a scarf she received in a blogger exchange. How fun! This is agreat example of how to rock those white jeans into fall.
Joi (In My Joi) looks so pretty in her pink and pearls. Her Fabulous embellished sweater and glittery sandals are showstoppers for sure.
Susan (The Midlife Fashionista) showed off three amazing consignment styled looks. This suede coat is a stunner!
