I am back today with the final part of my series with Six MORE ways to style a tunic and leggings. I have to tell you this has been a great opportunity for me to shop my closet and think about different styling opportunities I may have missed without truly taking a minute, or 10, to think about it.
Tunic – All For You, Amazon| Leggings – Free to Live, Amazon| Scarf – Local| Boots – Worthington
This first one is pretty simple, but I really like how these pieces work with over the knee boots and a pretty silky scarf. Thin scarves are on trend at the moment and I could have tied this one even smaller around my neck, but I felt the long tunic needed a bit of length for balance. I went with my black over the knee boots, but obviously other colors would work well, too.
Tunic – All For You, Amazon| Leggings – Free to Live, Amazon| Scarf – Burlington Coat Factory| Boots – Bandolino| Vest – ?
Layering a vest over your tunic, adding a warm scarf and riding boots is perfect for fall and winter. This would work just as well with a denim, utility, fur, or plain vest, as well as a variety of scarves verses the double plaid I chose to incorporate. Switching out the tall boots for booties or flats are another idea.
Tunic – All For You, Amazon| Leggings – Free to Live, Amazon| Shirt – Ralph Lauren| Shoes – Converse
Go casual by adding a plaid shirt, cute sneakers, and a baseball cap. For this look I didn’t really like how the ruffle hem looked underneath this so I pulled the hem straight across and knotted it to the side.
Tunic – All For You, Amazon| Leggings – Free to Live, Amazon| Cardigan – Joseph A| Shoes – Calvin Klein| Necklace – Charming Charlie
I chose a neutral duster cardigan and leopard pumps for a look ready made for the office. A shorter cardigan would also work. Switch up the colors and footwear for even more variety.
Tunic – All For You, Amazon| Leggings – Free to Live, Amazon| Blazer – Jack| Boots – Jessica Simpson “Agnes”| Necklace – NY&Co.
Another option is to add a blazer. I decided to go with an unstructured blazer because I liked how it worked with the looser lines of the tunic. I went with these booties because I like how the burgundy offers a nice contrast with the neutrals, but again the options are limitless.
Tunic – All For You, Amazon| Leggings – Free to Live, Amazon| Poncho – Pumps & Pushups| Boots – SOfft| Necklace – Charming Charlie
Finally, I layered a buffalo plaid poncho over my basics for a real punch, added a pop of color with my necklace, and completed the look with booties. Oh, and this time around I decided to belt the tunic for a extra visual interest.
