Can you believe it is already November? Before you know it those of us in the US will be planning our Thanksgiving celebrations and then head straight into the holiday season. Whew. As we are still experiencing temps in the eighties, I am hoping Mother Nature gets the memo it is more than officially fall season. Honestly, I am starting to worry I am not going to have time to wear all my cool weather wardrobe!
Meanwhile, I am still doing what I can to dress like it is fall-ish. Wearing fall shades and booties have become my go-to wardrobe staples this year. Since going red I have found my self adding more muted shades of orange to my wardrobe – so perfect for fall. This top is actually a tank I picked up this summer from Loft and it has a cute layered hemline, which you obviously cannot see because it is tucked in for this look. A denim jacket is one of my favorite ways to transition my warm weather items for fall. I added a lighter denim jacket to my wardrobe this summer for some variety, as I usually reach for my medium wash denim jacket, or sometimes my white denim. I am considering adding a black denim, as well, sometime in the future. This particular jacket has some stretch and is the softest denim ever! My lightweight pleated skirt still works for fall because of the colors, and of the fact it is still warm here. Although, I can also see wearing it with tights when it does grow cooler.

Last week’s most clicked link comes from Susan of Over 50 Under 20, as she shared a Fashion House of Horrors. Pretty funny stuff and a great post on what not to wear.
Nora looks so stylish, chic, and ready for fall in her reversible plaid and herringbone poncho. You can check out more of her style at Jacket Society.
Loving Rachel’s pattern mix, bold red, and fringed booties. Fabulous fall look.
How amazing does Jessica, of J Petite, look in this Halloween photo shoot?
