Sometimes as we grow older we forget there are still plenty of opportunities for us to make occasions special and dress up. Some common occasions to keep in mind are weddings, Christmas parties, New Year’s Eve and office parties. Others may be more out of the ordinary, but are fun if they happen to be something you might be attending, such as formal dinners on a cruise, or an adult prom. As the events come up we always want start looking for something special to wear. I recently discovered Gem Grace, an on-line wedding and special occasion shop and believe they are a great place to start your hunt.
I thoroughly enjoyed looking at the dresses offered in their fashion and semi-formal section, and was delighted by the wide variety and range offered. I saw styles that would be perfect for low key events, all the way to dramatic ready for the red carpet looks. I was also thrilled to see everything was extremely affordable. Usually when I am looking for special event pieces, I don’t want to spend too much because I know I will most likely only be wearing the item once or twice. Which brings me to another thing, I loved seeing styles that were elevated above my everyday wear, however I could envision ways of dressing down many of the fashionable dresses for more wear beyond just special occasions.

I admit, normally when it comes to looking for special occasion wear I do not automatically think of checking out companies I typically associate with bridal or prom wear. I must say I was truly surprised at the lower key fashion options Gem Grace offers and will certainly give them a look first the next time a special occasion appears on my horizon. I hope you will, as well!
