Vintage Wedding Dresses In Amazing Color
To understand what makes something vintage you must know what the word vintage means. After looking it up on several websites you find that vintage generally relates to wine of a certain quality or items that are of a certain age. None of the definitions given for vintage will tell you what age that is so we are left to assume that aged means “older” than ourselves or those around us. A good vintage wine could be twenty or eighty years old. When looking at wedding dresses, the aged look is very popular and they have many traits that are very similar to each other. Vintage wedding dresses are becoming very popular and in high demand so we are able to see an idea of vintage.
As a soon-to-be bride, I understand how important it is to be able to choose the perfect wedding dress. There are so many factors that come into play, like style, color, and size.
Color is huge even if they may seem like they are all the same color to someone who is not trying to feel like a princess on their wedding day. Colors like Ivory, Champagne, Cream, Natural, and White are all different shades of off white. They may not seem different to the average person, but the different shades make a huge difference to a bride-to-be.
Looking at the wedding dresses in the collections of Nataya BHLDN, and Vera Wang they use the same colors. As I mentioned before, the colors are Ivory, Champagne, Cream, Natural, and White. When you look at these amazing body hugging dresses, you are in awe by their beauty and how much the color compliments the style of the dress. A majority of these dresses will be more off white to give them a more vintage look than the style already does.
The style of these dresses are generally body hugging and then flare out around the knees. As if that was not enough to make these gowns seem older, the color ages them. The aging is not a bad thing at all for a bride-to-be. It is becoming more popular to wear wedding dresses that are anything but white. The champagne and cream colors give these dresses a unique and beautiful look that make any woman look and feel stunning on their special day. Nataya, BHLDN, and Vera Wang have all adopted these colors with success.
