This is one week where I will not be sharing a huge welcome to Friday. I am on spring break and, frankly, Friday is coming too fast! I have a ginormous to-do list on my plate and feel as though I haven’t accomplished nearly enough. I spent one day at the office because I had responsibilities which took precedence, one day at home sick, another day dealing with a flooded basement because we have been bombarded by rain, and now all my days off are shrinking.
Just for fun I will share a couple of photos of my grand-dog, Bear (he is my youngest son, Spencer’s, new pup since just before Christmas), as he has been my constant companion this week. Also, Mina loathes him.
Back to the fashion – I am sooo in love with this gorgeous sheer embellished bell sleeve blouse! Even though it has long, bell sleeves, it is sheer, lightweight and simply pretty. What could be more perfect for spring? I am also loving these curvy convertible jeans from Angels Forever Young. I have been wearing them on serious repeat since I received them, They are so comfortable and fit me like a glove because I sized down this time around. The mid-wash denim with a bit of fade along the front is a great color year round and I enjoy the fact they are easily cuffed for warmer weather. As I am looking at them on the website, I am realizing how short I am, as they seem mid-calf on the model’s photo. I will say all the other times I wore them I gave them an extra roll up for something closer to their true intention. This time around I felt a longer length worked better with this particular look. So, I really enjoy the convertible factor, as well as the tummy tech panel with all of its hugging in my not so tight spots with comfort.

Also, I am a Bare Minerals girl and have been for years. I unexpectedly ran out (boys in my bathroom and an accident) and had to use a liquid foundation today because that is all I had in my arsenal. I have to say I am not a fan because I prefer lighter makeup that lets my skin breathe and appears more natural. I know some women think they cannot wear mineral makeup as they age, but for me it still works. What is your experience?
