A Winkwood Rosy View
Disclosure: The sunglasses in this post were provided to me. Just sharing my honest thoughts.
Y’all sometimes I feel like a broken record, but once again I am feeling overwhelmed with all the things in which I have fallen behind this week. Behind at work, behind at home, behind with social media, behind with blog comments, behind with working out, behind with personal relationships that really mean a lot to me. I am trying to evaluate where my time is going and consider what I can be doing differently.
I am also trying to focus more on the positive and consider I should be grateful for having so much going on in my life. I have a wonderful job and co-workers who make it a joy to be where I spend so much of my life. I own my own home and have the ability to make changes on a whim in any way I desire. I love this little blog of mine and am so grateful for all of you read here and follow me on social media. I may not always be able to comment back as much as I would like, but I do want you to know I am appreciative. I am healthy and can work out and am truly trying to make it more of a priority with daily walks, kettlebell rounds, and an accountability group to keep me on track. I am also happy to have so many sweet people in my life who offer their friendship, encouragement, and honesty on the regular. For the most part, I do believe I see the world through rose colored glasses. Sometimes they just get a little cloudy and remind me I need to readjust my priorities.
While I am readjusting my thoughts to a brighter view, these super cute Desert Rose shades from Winkwood remind me there is a sunny side of the street and I can look fab while crossing over. Winkwood offers so many fabulous designs in sunnies for women and men. I honestly had a difficult time choosing. They are based out of Melbourne, Australia where you know being kind to your eyes and skin is a priority. The Desert Rose is made from redwood and offers a UV-400 protection. I have to say while shooting these photos they cut down so much UV glare and sunlight I couldn’t even make myself out on my camera’s pop up live lens to make sure I was in my shots! The times I have worn these cool sunglasses I received so many compliments from complete strangers on them. That is always a plus in my book!

Co-Host – Gail of Is This Mutton?
UK. Her blog is called Is This Mutton?, an old saying that suggests
older woman are “mutton dressed as lamb,” or in other words, “age
inappropriate,” that dreaded phrase. Gail is married to marathon
runner John and has two adult step children. She loves metallic shoes
and boots, sloths and collecting useless information of the type
“Two-thirds of all accidents in Sweden involve a moose.”
My favorite look from last week is from Jessica of Jeans and a Teacup . Love this pretty maternity dress and the floral wall makes a stunning background. Don’t forget to hop on over to Gail’s blog and see who she is featuring this week!
