I fell in love with this kimono earlier this year and even included it on a spring wish list a few months ago. I love the cream background, gorgeous colors and woodsy print. The hi-lo hemline is also a fabulous feature. It looked perfect with an olive tank, jeans and espadrilles for a nice casual look this weekend. I will say this kimono does not have much extra fabric in the front if you want something that comes closer to actually closing. Not a deal breaker for me, as kimonos are supposed to be open anyway.
I also did a quick DIY on these jeans and added a step-hem with a raw edge. The edge should begin raveling well with more wash and wears. This is an easy update for jeans and a great way to keep your look fresh. As a shortie I love this hemline – no need to cuff and I can easily wear flats or heels with them. These jeans are a great fit, but were way too long for me, so this trendy update was the perfect solution. I am already surveying my closet and seeing which pair might get the cut next!
How cute is this woven bag? I just love the flowers and how perfect this is for summer. I found it in a local shop, but there was no label in it stating the brand.
