This afternoon I went to the salon for my regular trim. It was so nice to have a break in the middle of the work day for a little pampering. I love how my stylist gives a brief scalp and neck massage during the wash and condition segment. It’s so relaxing to just sit back and be taken care of for an hour. Then to see the final results and know in my heart of hearts this will be only day it will look or feel this good until the next appointment… At least, that’s the way it always is with me.
This spring and summer I have been drawn to pretty, white items for my wardrobe. Tops and dresses with ruffles, lace, embroidery, or crochet details have been high on my radar. When I saw this pretty peasant skirt I immediately knew it would be coming home with me. The delicate pin-tucks and eyelet lace add such pretty visual interest to the tiers. A simple cami, denim jacket, and lace-up flats kept everything casual and cute for weekend errands. These neutral flats have been in my wardrobe for a few months now and are a favorite. I just realized this is the first time I have shown them on the blog.
