Happy Monday! How was your weekend? I kept pretty busy for the most part, but did make sure I enjoyed some down time, as well. I am in the midst of doing an organization overhaul in my kitchen. I thought I had everything the way I wanted it, but after living with it for a couple of years, combined with the boys’ more haphazard efforts, it was time to make some changes. I love organizing things and I am always running across new ideas on Pinterest I like, so this is a fun project for me.
As I was running behind one morning last week, I quickly combined this black and white pattern mix look. I have worn this black and white gingham shirt so many times over the past few years. I decided to try it with my striped knit pencil skirt and a denim jacket. My red pumps and chunky pearl necklace dressed it up enough to be office appropriate. I do like to wear completer pieces even in the summer because I generally spend my time in air conditioned spaces and I just feel they pull a look together and take it to the next level.
