The Fab 40’s is a group of four stylish fashion bloggers from around the globe. Each month we choose a different theme and invite a guest blogger who is also in their forties to join us. This group’s goal is to take on style trends and show how we each interpret and incorporate them into our own lives. With eight widely varied views, you are certain to find something that speaks to you each month and encourages you to continue to have fun with fashion after 40.
As they say, all good things must come to an end, and this will be our final Fab 40’s post. I say Final, but I am truly hoping it just means final for now. Over the recent past months we have lost members for various personal reasons and I do wish each one of them success and happiness as they move forward in their own ventures. After a lot of chatting back and forth the remaining members felt like it was time to take a step away. I am hopeful we use this as a time of refreshment. Over the past year and a half I have been privileged to be a part of this fabulous and stylish group of women I have looked forward to these monthly challenges and how they have pushed me to consider things outside my style box. I always enjoyed seeing how widely varied the interpretations of each theme could be every month and loved the inspiration I gathered from each participant. I have also enjoyed getting to know the other bloggers within the group and certainly consider them friends.
Mary selected autumn hues as our theme this month. As it just so happened I had ordered this pretty medallion skirt a couple of weeks before this announcement and I knew it would be the perfect piece to style for this post. It’s shades of olive, pumpkin, curry, burgundy, blush, and cornflower all say fall to me. I decided to play up the burgundy and add some fun pattern mixing by pairing the skirt with this striped tee.

Mary looks gorgeous in her graphic print off the shoulder maxi dress. The colors and form fit look as though they were made for her! The dress and bag were both thrifted, making this a fabulous and frugal look!

As always, Vero brings a touch of cool girl chic to this month’s theme. Her olive mesh top offers a nice bit of edge alongside the adorable embroidered jeans. I love how her sandals feature even more olive in her look.
