I mentioned in my last post I have been busy with home projects, which has kept me away from blogland and social media this past week or so. Well, after sporadic starts and stops over the past couple of years, I decided it was time to just pull up my sleeves and start getting real about finishing up my closet room. This has been a budget room renovation, which means I have been doing most of the work completely on my own. I did have some assistance hanging my clothing racks, but otherwise it’s been all me. This past week I installed shelves in the closet within my closet room to utilize the space better. It felt good to take ownership of every aspect of this project – from the distance between shelves, to selecting my wood, sanding, staining, and the final install. I have also been re-configuring my necklace, scarf, and earring organization to something that works more efficiently for my needs. Then there has also been the fun part of picking out decor. Hopefully I will wrap everything up within the week and will be able to showcase a reveal soon after.
So I was in the mood to wear something a little more comfortable to the office this week and decided to pull out this loose tank dress. I topped it off with my sheer floral kimono and a simple necklace. I love how kimonos complete a look without extra bulk, which is pretty necessary when it is in the nineties most days around here. You can also see this same kimono styled here and here.
