Disclosure: The dress in this post was provided to me. All thoughts about it are all my own.
It’s been a hectic few days with some unexpected issues thrown into the mix, so I am running woefully behind on my regular Wednesday post. With that being said, this will be quite short and to the point.
I selected this pretty dark floral dress in anticipation of fall. I love the tie neck detail, as well as the fluted sleeves. The cascading floral print really captured my eye. I also like the forgiving a-line silhouette. In the past I have been a little disappointed with the length of some of the dresses I have selected from Shein and ultimately styled them as tunics. I was happy when this dress arrived to see it was an actual dress length. We have experienced a bit of relief from the heat this past week, so I took advantage of it and wore this long sleeved dress and was quite comfortable. With its tie neck and floral pattern there was little need for accessories beyond earrings. Yes! I love a piece that requires little styling for busy mornings. My cognac peep toe booties are a favorite for spring and fall transition looks, so they were an automatic choice for me. I can certainly see myself choosing pumps and tying the neckties into a bow for a dressier interpretation.
Earrings – Old
Bag – Vince Camuto
Shoes – Nine West
Have you started wearing fall transition looks yet? To be honest, most days here in the south it is entirely too hot in August to even think about fall style, so there will be plenty of summer looks still being featured here. However, with the fluke weather conditions over the past couple of weeks, I am happy to take advantage of them as I can.
