Disclosure: The shapewear in this post was provided to me. All thoughts about it are completely my own.
As the temperatures turn cooler, I find myself reaching for leggings more often for casual styles. I can recall being a bit hesitant to try this trend again when it initially came back, as I could recall the awful leggings as pants fashion faux pas of the past and wasn’t interested in being another fashion victim. I have obviously moved past this line of thinking, but I do still feel a bit of discretion should be shown while styling leggings. Just a little effort to cover up with longer layers, tunics, or even dresses and your favorite leggings can look incredibly stylish and not as though you walked out the door in your skivvies.
One of the main components to leggings being suitable to be worn outside the home is the fabric itself being thick. Thin leggings are not our friends, sharing every lump and bump and not leaving much to the imagination. When I opened my package of Svelte leggings and placed my hand on the fabric I inadvertently let out a sigh it was so soft and thick, and just felt luxe. They are made from a ponte di roma, which makes them not only very comfortable, but also means the fabric remains virutally wrinkle free. Every pair of Svelte leggings comes with a tummy trimming waist panel for an even more slimming effect. I enjoy how they hold everything in for a smooth silhouette without being constricting like some shapewear I have tried. Svelte offers a wide variety of shapewear legging styles and colors. They also carry shorts, skirts, tank tops, and a denim line. Now I want to add some other colors from this fabulous brand to my wardrobe!
