Disclosure: The product in this post was provided to me. I am simply sharing my honest opinion and experience.
I am all about trying new beauty products and skin treatments. A couple of times a week I like to treat myself to some extra special care and try exfoliating scrubs and hydrating masks to keep my skin looking fresh and youthful. When I had the opportunity to try a product that would pamper the skin around my eyes, as well as help with dark circles, I thought it was worth looking into.
There can be many different causes for dark circles under our eyes throughout our lives, but as we grow older they are more common due to slower circulation and blood flow and increased levels of melanin accumulation. As much as I like knowing the underlying reasons behind the change in the appearance of my skin, I am much more excited about finding products which offer solutions to these unwanted changes.
VIIcode Oxygen Eye Masks for Dark Circles are really easy to use, simply apply to clean dry skin and wear overnight. These masks aren’t like your typical sheet mask, but are thicker and filled with a cooling gel. Each eye mask contains healing ingredients of grapeseed oil, seaweed, and white tea to help the restoration of collagen and hydration in this delicate area of skin. As a person with sensitive eyes, I must say I enjoyed the cool and, oh, so calming, effect these masks offered my eyes at the end of the day. The masks adhered well all night as I slept and I felt my skin did look well refreshed, and much less puffy than normal when I removed them the next morning.
The masks are meant to be worn 2-3 nights a week, which means one box will last around three weeks. Three boxes are the recommended full round treatment for optimal results. While I did see positive changes and truly enjoyed the overall experience of using this product, I have only been through one-third of the recommended treatment. I enjoyed the eye masks enough to continue using the product on my own, and am interested to see how much of an impact it will make on my dark circles with continued use.
