Disclosure: The top in this post was provided to me. All thoughts about it are completely my own.
I had to step away from the blog earlier this week and take a bit of a break. There have been a lot of deadlines at work, as well as home responsibilies which are more of a priority for me. It is easier and easier for me to remember this blog is just a hobby for me and if I don’t have time for posts it’s ok. For those of you who read my blog and aren’t also fellow bloggers you may not realize how much work goes into each and every post. For those of you who are my fellow bloggers, I apologize for not being as supportive as I would like to be of late with comments and joining your linkups. Hopefully things will be back on track next week.
Statement sleeves are having a huge fashion moment. I know a lot of people see bell sleeves, trumpet sleeves, bishop sleeves, tiered sleeves, and ruffled sleeves and think they are really impractical and worry about dragging them through their plate. I have a few different items with gorgeous sleeves and I have never once worn them and found I have to be any more careful than normal to keep myself looking spotless. Personally, I Love the drama of a bold sleeve. This particular ruffled sleeve top goes beyond just tiered ruffles, as it also offers a mesh insert for even more flair. I did something I rarely do and decided to style this top with a completely monochrome look this time around. Not even a bright shoe, which is unheard of for me!
Check out another time I have tried the ruffle sleeve style with a bright red dress earlier this year.

Last week’s most clicked link goes to Mary of Real Girl’s Realm. Her floral bomber jacket is such a fun addition to her LBD.
I am adoring this cute and casual fall look from Kellyann of This Blonde’s Shopping Bag. This is definitely my style!
