Welcome to 9 to 5 Style! The third Monday of every month Fonda of Savvy Southern Chic and I will showcase a theme featuring our individual takes on a professional look. Our aim is to inspire and show professional style does not have to mean boring and without personality. We hope you enjoy our 9 to 5 Style!
This month it was my turn to select our style prompt, and leopard seemed a natural choice. I am a huge fan of wearing leopard year round, but when the weather starts cooling down I seem to reach for it more and more often. I think it is because the colors just lend themselves to compliment our fall and winter wardrobes well.
A lot of people tend to shy away from leopard, especially in the workplace. Obviously, you would probably garner plenty of side-eye if you walked in wearing head to toe leopard, but as long as you keep things balanced you can certainly incorporate this print in even the strictest of office environments. Adding one piece of leopard is always a nice way to add something extra to my office basics. When in doubt a pair of leopard pumps or flats is a great way to introduce this print to your work wardrobe. See two other ways I have styled this leopard blouse for the office – here and here!
