Over the past couple of months, I have been dealing with a bit of insomnia. To me, that seems a bit crazy because I feel as though I am always in go mode with too many things to do throughout the day and I should be just exhausted when I finally turn in. Sometimes that is the case,, more than often it isn’t. I feel as though most of you women out there might understand me on this point. I have a very difficult time shutting down my brain. Did I accomplish all I need to at work today, and if not, what is on the schedule for tomorrow? Do I have healthy meals cooked for breakfast and lunch? What do Hunter and Spencer have on their schedule? What should I wear tomorrow, and don’t forget I have boot camp class early…” The thoughts that pop into my mind can go on and on when I just really need to Go To Sleep. I was growing really frustrated with my inability to just sleep. After some research, I discovered Sleep With Me Podcast. The first 5-10 minutes is about advertising, which you can skip, but then the Host starts talking about random stories or facts in this droning melodious way that I sort of listen enough to keep my mind from all my other thoughts until I drift asleep. I have tried ocean waves, thunderstorms, cricket soundwave machines, and my thoughts still kept interfering. I am telling you there is nothing like the droning on of another human being sharing things you have no interest in hearing to help you find your happy sleep zone! This is no way whatsoever a sponsored post, just sharing what works for me.

Co-Host – Maria of Passion Fruit, Paws and Peonies
My favorite post was from Amy of Stylin’ Granny Mama. Not only do I love her graphic tee, but am enamored with how she layered a crocheted vest over a cardigan. I need to try this asap! Stop by Maria’s blog to see if she is featuring you this week!
